so there is a place i discovered a couple of weeks ago. it is the most beautiful shade of pink inside and sells the most delicious pies and sweets and coffee, and its quite a walk for me to get there, but i just love it, and its worth every step.
on saturdays my guy and i tend to sleep late, and walk for hours with the dog, collecting odds and ends for dinner, stopping at the farmers market for bread, etc. it sounds like such a brooklyn cliche, but what can i say?
so i found a somewhat newly opened pie shop called petee's cafe. i usually just walk past, hoping to resist, but once or twice iv'e wandered in to the most lovely little cocoon.
its all pretty and pink and dripping with greenery inside.
and there is a patio in the back that i have not actually seen, since i am a takeout gal.
oh how id love to have those dishes at home!
two coffees and one piece of pie for two people never hurt anyone, right?
we just sit outside on a bench and share. eating flower topped lemon pie is really the secret to a happy life. no joke.
